How Well Do You Communicate?

I can tell you from personal experience as a recruiter: you can spot a trite resume a mile away. One of the things that drove me crazy was seeing time after time, “Excellent communications skills” at the top of the page, and no evidence of these skills anywhere else. Especially with soft skills such as this, it is critical for a job hunter to demonstrate in every way imaginable those skills, rather than simply claiming to have them.
